Our History
Northern Uganda Youth Development Centre (NUYDC) was established at the directive of the President of Uganda as a strategic initiative to support the transformation and empowerment of young people in Northern Uganda. The Centre emerged as part of a phased development response following years of conflict and displacement in the region, with a clear mission: to equip youth with practical skills, opportunities, and a renewed sense of purpose.
At NUYDC, we provide a supportive environment where young people can learn new skills, grow professionally, and build sustainable livelihoods. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality training, mentorship, and youth-centered programs accessible to both national and international learners. Through hands-on vocational training, guidance, and continuous support, we help youth unlock their potential and prepare for meaningful careers.
